Partner Thomas Weitemeyer turns 40!

Date 14 apr. 2016

Thomas is Managing Partner at Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen Advokatpartnerselskab, a law firm which he founded 1 September 2008 along with attorneys-at-law Claus Molbech Bendtsen and Dan Moalem.

Thomas primarily engages in the acquisition and sale of companies and reconstructions. Further, he has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court.

Over the years, Thomas has advised on some of the most spectacular business deals in Denmark, including the merger between the Swedish and Danish postal Companies (nos Postnord) and most recently private equity fund 3i Infrastructure's and AMP Capital's acquisition of Esvagt from the AP Møller Mærsk Group. Additionally, he has advised on complex reconstructions, including one of Denmark's largest property companies Kuben.

The inspiration to become a lawyer comes from Thomas' late father, attorney-at-law Mikael Weitemeyer, who like his son also had the right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court. In his private life, Thomas lives in his childhood home in Gadevang with his partner Helle and their two children. In his free time, he is a triathlete, an active soccer player on the local team, and - when his schedule allows it - Thomas can be found on the golf court.
