Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen hires highly qualified law school students from all Danish law schools. We offer a traineeship employment for law school students who have completed their Bachelor's Degree. Our traineeship has been established with the purpose of employing our Trainees as Junior Associates later on. Our ambition is to recruit the main part of our associates amongst our Trainees.

Work assignments

The work assignments will to the widest possible extent provide an introduction to the assignments that are carried out by a first-year Associate.


As a Trainee at Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen, you will be included in the casework under a Partner and, to the widest possible extent, follow the case from the beginning to the end.


Apart from casework, Trainees at Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen participate in various legal work, including: 

  1. Drafting of legal memoranda.
  2. Drafting of legal documents, e.g. articles of association, shareholders' agreements, capital increase documentation etc.
  3. Drafting of articles and newsletters.
  4. Drafting of pleadings.


Salary terms

Trainees are offered DKK 180 per hour.


Working hours

Maximum 60 hours/month. The scheduling will be managed in cooperation with a Partner in that the specific working hours will be adjusted accordingly with the necessary staffing in the particular casework. This number of hours is an absolute maximum. Only in holiday periods will it be possible to deviate from this fixed hour maximum. The job as a Trainee is a job on top of the studies and not the other way around.

We offer and encourage unlimited holiday for exam preparation for a fixed period.


Liaison arrangement

All Trainees will have a liaison appointed who is an experienced Associate or Attorney. Meetings with the liaison are held on a regular basis. At the meetings, the work assignments and wishes for handling new types of cases are discussed.


Employee development interviews

From an HR perspective, Trainees are handled the same way as Associates. Accordingly, all Trainees must participate in employee development interviews twice a year, possibly with the participation of  the liaison and a Partner .



If a Trainee is succesfully employed with Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen, the Trainee can apply for a travelling or educational scholarship of DKK 25,000.

As a Trainee, you are treated as an Associate to the extent possible. Accordingly, at the beginning of your employment, you will receive a mobile phone, a laptop and a broadband connection at home with access to our network.
